The past few weeks have been very tough; having a total of 18 credit hours this semester, it has been a pretty big work load. Thankfully with everything I was learning in this class, made it a little easier. Learning about time-management was a big part of helping me figure out my tasks and finding specific times for me to work on each assignment individually.
I know that even with all the grammatical things I have learned in this class, that I will never be perfect with writing, and that should not keep me from writing. The more I continue to write the better I will become at it, just like with reading. I started writing in a journal about my day, not only to practice my grammar, but also to help expressive my feelings. Writing things down in a journal helps me become very calm and relaxed. I write about anything that happened in the day, what I am grateful for, some future goals, or just about anything that comes in to my mind. It also allows to me track what I ate for the day and compare it to how many calories I burned. I will always have to be writing and communicating with students, parents, administration, just about everyone out there in this world and I am grateful that I was able to take this class and gain this knowledge I did. Thank you to everyone that was a part of this experience and to Professor Aggen for being patience with my learning.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you! I feel that I have learned so much more going through this class than I would have without it! I do need to learn to find time to try and read more to help with my punctuation and grammar. I like your idea about writing in a journal to help with grammar and to also help you with your calorie input and output! See you Monday! Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteMaggie,
ReplyDeleteKeeping a journal is a great idea! It does give you practice with writing, and it also gives you the opportunity to write your own history as you jot down your thoughts and feelings. I'm very happy that the time management skills presented in this course were a help to you! A little bit of organization is a great thing! Best of luck to you!
